The project comes from a public initiative – a group of local inhabitants, wanting an appealing shelter and an on-roof zone for public gatherings and play.
At the moment the space is filled with trash cans – it is unsanitary, surrounded by cars and unwanted activities. The existing roof structure is unsafe and the overall area is not suited for the healthy life of locals, who very often decide to shift their walking path just to avoid passing this place. The project firstly puts trash containers underground, while opening a covered playground for local children. Installing a staircase, a spot for bicycles and a wooden terrace for local youth. This is a place for outside movies and chats, a place for local moms to sit down and watch their children swing.
This is a spot for local life and one of the improvements to help make the whole street a quality neighborhood.
